The Society is a non-profit organisation run by volunteers to bring diversity of film to the Manning and to encourage appreciation and discussion of film in a regular social atmosphere.
Our subscription season runs from July to June. 12 Monthly screenings, with some pop up film nights, plus coffee cakes and chatting are covered by the $160 subscription.
We have also started to screen some members only films. These screenings are booked from the distributor on non-theatrical or film society licence. As such casual tickets can not be sold, but it does allow us to extend our programme of titles and arrange extra films in addition to our shows at the cinema. So check out our programmes section.
